TOURIA is a new digital tool developed by CALYPS as part of the Innotour program, designed to meet the emerging needs of the Swiss tourism sector. Designed as an intelligent predictive cockpit, TOURIA helps destinations manage their activities proactively, strategically, and sustainably.

Tourism professionals face increasing uncertainty: unpredictable visitor flows, environmental constraints, and rapidly changing visitor behavior.
With TOURIA, CALYPS offers an innovative solution to:

What TOURIA Does
TOURIA relies on artificial intelligence trained on multi-source tourism data to deliver accurate and actionable forecasts.

• Interactive dashboards for destination managers
• AI-based predictions: visitor flow, availability, average prices
• Integration with external tools via API
• Use of diverse data sources: overnight stays, weather, traffic, SIM data, parking, events, social media, etc.
A Tool Grounded in Field Reality
TOURIA is being developed in close collaboration with several pilot regions, including:
• Montreux Riviera: crowd management during the Montreux Jazz Festival
• Verbier: service adaptation during the winter sports season
• Crans-Montana: targeted summer marketing
• Jura & Trois-Lacs: sustainable management of natural site flows
An Innovation by CALYPS
CALYPS, a Swiss digital transformation expert, is developing TOURIA with the support of Innotour (SECO) and in partnership with the Institute of Tourism at HES-SO Valais-Wallis.
